Our eyesight is incredibly precious, and regular eye examinations are the first step towards maintaining good vision for life.
We understand everyone’s needs are different when it comes to eyesight, so we offer a Standard or Premium Retinal Screening service for you and your employees. Either way, we’ll come to your workplace to perform the examination and an optometrist will review our findings. If required, we’ll supply a referral to an Ophthalmologist, and we can offer patient follow up if you’re hoping to dig a little deeper. We use state of the art technology which aims to detect retinal disorders and provides our practitioners with the information they require to keep you on track to better health in the eye department.
So what is a retinal examination? It’s a non-invasive eye exam that can detect potential nasties such as glaucoma and AMD (age-related macular degeneration), as well as diabetic retinopathy - an eye condition found in people with diabetes. It can lead to vision loss, but early detection plays a huge role in minimising the effects. Diabetic retinopathy is a big one for the diabetics out there; you guys already have a lot on your plates, so our quick workplace eye examinations help keep this front of mind.
